Nifty & Sensex open marginally higher; Telecom stocks lose;
Indian Indices:
Nifty opened at 10,160 level, up by 13 points while Sensex opened at 32,467 level, up by 65 points. Reliance Industries is top contributor to the Nifty and Sensex gains in the morning hours. The stock is top Nifty gainer trading at Rs 860 per share, up by 3% whereas Bharti Airtel is top Nifty loser, trading at Rs 377.9 per share, down by 4.28%. BSE Telecom index is top loser among sectoral indices trading at 1,373 level, down by 28 points or 2%.Nifty50 has resistance placed in the region of 10,180-10,200. On the other hand, Nifty50 has strong support placed in the region of 10,130-10,140.
Global Market:
•Stock markets in Asia looked mostly subdued on Wednesday, with the investors searching for directions after Wall Street ended flat. The Japan’s Nikkei 225 has gained 5 points and the Hong Kong's Hang Seng has climbed 60 points, whereas, China’s Shanghai Composite has lost 3 points.
•The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 39 points to 22,371. The Nasdaq Composite Index inched up 7 points to 6,461 and the S&P 500 advanced 3 points.
