Nifty likely to open flat 26-Nov-2018


Indian Indices:                              Sensex trades flat, around 35,000; Nifty well below 10,550.


Global Market:
·       Asian markets: Asian shares edged higher on Monday, though investors were cautious as plunging oil prices fanned worries about a dimming outlook for the global economy.
·       US Markets:  US stocks sold off for a second day on Tuesday as energy shares dropped with oil prices, and retailers including Target and Kohl’s sank after weak earnings and forecasts, fueling worries about economic growth.
·       European markets: European stocks gyrated on Friday , partially affected by a steep dip in oil prices. European stocks have gone on a roller-coaster ride on Friday.


·       Major Headlines of the day:

·         Sensex gains over 100 points, Nifty50 above 10,550; YES Bank declines 5% 
·       Stocks Nifty faces resistance at 10,700-10,850; banks & FMCG may gain

MARKET WRAP UP 19-NOV-2018


Closing Bell: Sensex ends over 300 points higher, Nifty above 10,750; consumption, metals gain big.

It’s a strong start to the week, with the Sensex ending over 300 points higher, while the Nifty surged past 10,750 on the back of intense buying.
Buying counters were buzzing among sectors such as automobiles, consumption, energy, infrastructure, IT, metals and pharmaceuticals as well. In the broader markets, the Nifty Midcap index rose around half a percent.
Financials saw a rally as news reports indicated that the central bank was open to tweaking/review of PSU banks’ prompt corrective action (PCA) plan.
At the close of market hours, the Sensex closed up 317.72 points or 0.90% at 35774.88, while the Nifty was higher 81.20 points or 0.76% at 10763.40. The market breadth was narrow as 1,330 shares advanced, against a decline of 1,278 shares, while 160 shares were unchanged.
Yes Bank and ITC were the top gainers, while ONGC, ICICI Bank, Indiabulls Housing and GAIL lost the most. 


HEADLINES OF THE DAY

Indian Sugar Mills Association has said that sugar output as of November 15, 2018 has been reported at 11.63 lakh tonnes against 13.73 lakh tonnes year on year.
Oil India gains ahead of board meeting: Share price Oil India gained 2.6 percent ahead of board meeting scheduled to be held on November 19, 2018.
Shares of PNB Gilts fell 3.3 percent after company reported weak set of numbers for the quarter ended September 2018.
Yes Bank surges 6% Shares of Yes Bank are higher by 6 percent after ratings agency ICRA affirmed long term rating of AA+ for the bank with negative implications.
Share price of Tata Investment Corporation gained more than 8 percent in the early trade on Monday after company approved the buyback plan.

The crucial resistance for Nifty spot is now seen at 10830 and above this 10920 Support for the immediate term is now placed at 10680 next support will be 10510.

Nifty like to open 19-OCT-2018


A morning walk down Dalal Street | Investors could react to RIL Q2 show; 8 cos to declare earnings.

Indian Indices:                           If the bulls fail to push the index above its immediate hurdle at 10,550-10,600 zones then profit booking may take it towards next support of 10,350 zones.

Global Market:
·       Asian markets: Asian markets are lower today as Japanese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Nikkei 225 is off 1.09% while the Hang Seng is down 0.25%. The Shanghai Composite is not trading.
·       US Markets: Dow ends more than 300 points lower on worries about global growth, interest rates.
·       European markets: European markets finished broadly lower today with shares in Germany leading the region. The DAX is down 1.07% while France's CAC 40 is off 0.55% and London's FTSE 100 is lower by 0.39%.

·         RIL Q2 profit up 0.6% QoQ, GRM at $9.50/bbl; to buy controlling stake in Hathway Cable, DEN.
·         Brokerages estimate UltraTech's Q2 profit in range of Rs 430-520 cr, volume growth key.
·         Asia shares extend slump as global sentiment sours.
·         Results to be announced today :- ICICI Securities,SBI Life Insura,UltraTechCement.

·         Trend in FII flows:The FIIs were Net Value of Rs  140.02 segment while the DIIs were Net Value of  -343.11 per the provisional figures.

INDIAN BENCHMARKS gain for second day as metals shine

INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARKS  rose for the second consecutive session on Monday, led by metals and mining firms such as Tata Steel on expectations the government would pass executive orders to ease land acquisition rules and auction minerals such as iron ore. The S&P BSE Sensex and CNX Nifty ended 0.57%-0.56% higher each.                                                                         
  1. Shares of Gujarat Pipavav Port soared 10% to Rs199, also is record high on ( NSE), on back of heavy volumes.
  2. Career Point gains 11% on signing MOU with Govt of Rajasthan.
  3. Aban Offshore rallies 15% on rating upgrade.
The crucial resistance for Nifty is now seen at 8375 and above this 8425. Support for the immediate term is now placed at 8285 and next support will be 8210.
