Nifty Like To Open 04-OCT-2018

Nifty below 10,800, Sensex down 100 points in pre-opening trade.

Indian Indices:                      Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a negative opening for the broader index in India, a fall of 117 points or 1.08 percent.

Global Market:

·       Asian markets: Asian markets are lower today as Japanese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Nikkei 225 is off 0.23% while the Hang Seng is down 1.62%. The Shanghai Composite is not trading.

·   US Markets: Dow rises nearly 200 points after the US and Canada strike a deal to replace NAFTA.

·       European markets: European markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The FTSE 100 gained 0.48% and the CAC 40 rose 0.43%. The DAX lost 0.42%.

·       Major Headlines of the day:

·   IL&FS crisis rattles MFs; cash plans worst hit with Rs 70,000 cr outflows in Sept.

·      Dinesh Engineers withdraws IPO on weak equity market conditions.

·         Trend in FII flows:-  The FIIs were Net Value of Rs -1550.04 cash segment while the DIIs were Net Value of  1402.47 per the provisional figures.
