Nifty likely to open higher. 06-Nov-2018

Indian Indices:                           Price growth in Nifty will mostly come through earnings growth while valuation multiple will see continued contraction.

Global Market:

·       Asian markets: Asian markets are lower today as Japanese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Nikkei 225 is off 1.02% while the Hang Seng is down 0.18%. The Shanghai Composite is not trading.

·       US Markets: Dow rises nearly 200 points as Berkshire Hathaway jumps, but Apple drags down Nasdaq.

·       European markets: European markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The FTSE 100 gained 0.14%, while the DAX led the CAC 40 lower. They fell 0.21% and 0.01% respectively.

·       Major Headlines of the day:

·        Rupee gains 17 paise in opening trade.

·        DHFL repays commercial paper worth Rs 1,775 crore.

·       Results to be announced today :- AB Capital,Dr Lal PathLab,Graphite India,Voltas.

·         Trend in FII flows:-  The FIIs were Net Value of Rs  12.34 segment while the DIIs were Net Value of  -621.94 the provisional figures.
