Nifty likely to open higher

The Nifty50 is expected to open higher on Tuesday tracking Asian markets which were trading slightly mixed. Overnight, S&P 500 managed to close at a record high after the United States and China agreed on Saturday to resume trade talks. The S&P BSE Sensex rose 291 points to 39,686 while the Nifty50 closed 76 points higher at 11,865 on Monday. Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a positive opening for the broader index in India, a rise of 20 points or 0.17 percent. Nifty futures were trading around 11,923-level on the Singaporean Exchange. The Indian rupee surrendered most of its early gains and settled for the day 9 paise higher at 68.94 against the US dollar on Monday as investor sentiments were revived by US-China trade truce.

Global Market:
Asian Markets: Asian markets are higher today as Chinese and Hong Kong shares show gains. The Shanghai Composite is up 0.20% while the Hang Seng is up 1.11%. The Nikkei 225 is not trading.
US Markets: North and South American markets finished higher today with shares in U.S. leading the region. The S&P 500 is up 0.77% while Mexico's IPC is up 0.64% and Brazil's Bovespa is up 0.37%.
European Markets: European markets finished higher today with shares in Germany leading the region. The DAX is up 0.99% while London's FTSE 100 is up 0.97% and France's CAC 40 is up 0.52%.

Rupee stands at 68.97 per dollar.
