Nifty likely to open higher.

The Nifty50 is expected to open flat on Wednesday tracking Asian markets which were trading cautiously ahead of the US Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell testimony before the U.S. Congress later today. Overnight, the S&P 500 ended slightly higher on Tuesday as gains in tech-related shares offset worries about a weakening outlook for earnings, said a Reuters report. The S&P BSE Sensex rose 10 points to 38,730 while the Nifty50 ended 2.7 points lower at 11,555 on Tuesday. Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a negative opening for the broader index in India, a fall of 14 points or 0.12 percent. Nifty futures were trading around 11,554-level on the Singaporean Exchange.

Global Market:
Asian Markets: Asian markets are higher today as Chinese and Hong Kong shares show gains. The Shanghai Composite is up 0.05% while the Hang Seng is up 0.44%. The Nikkei 225 is not trading.
US Markets: North and South American markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The Bovespa gained 0.42% and the S&P 500 rose 0.12%. The IPC lost 1.77%.
European Markets: European markets finished lower today with shares in Germany leading the region. The DAX is down 0.85% while France's CAC 40 is off 0.31% and London's FTSE 100 is lower by 0.17%.

Rupee stands at 68.65 per dollar.
