Future Retail plans to raise up to Rs1500 crore through debt instruments to replace high cost loans and to invest on brand building and marketing. The company is seeking approval from its shareholders for the proposal of raising up to Rs1500 crore through issue of non-convertible debentures on private placement basis.
·SKS Micro rises on regulating and refinancing MFI
SKS Microfinance rose over 2%, touching to Rs466.2, after proposed Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency ( Mudra) Bank would be responsible for regulating and refinancing micro finance institutions ( MFI).New regulator takes out tail risk of interference by states in sector, which was a key overhang for the sector, according to reports.
·Coal India drops on quoting ex-dividend today
Shares of Coal India dipped 5% at Rs377.90 on the NSE after the stock turned ex- dividend for Rs20.70 per share today.The stock opened at Rs373.50 and touched a low of Rs373 on the BSE.
The board of directors of Coal India at its meeting held on February 27, 2015, had approved payment of interim dividend for the financial year 2014-15 @ Rs20.70 per share of the face value of Rs10.

RBI internal committee has come out with revised guidelines for lending to the priority sector, with loans to medium enterprises, sanitation and renewable energy sectors coming under the ambit of priority sector lending. Overall priority sector target is maintained at 40% and target for lending to the agriculture sector has also been retained at 18% of ANBC.
·Government to set up monetary policy panel for inflation targeting
India has formally adopted inflation targeting whereby the government and the RBI agreed to set a consumer inflation target of 4%, with a band of +/-2%, from the financial year ending in March 2017.
This new framework will decrease the uncertainty around the decision-making process and will fix accountability, hence positive for overall economy and banking sector.

Top telecommunications carrier Bharti Airtel said it would collaborate with Mobile");'> China Mobile on growing fourth-generation ( 4G) mobile data services.

SENSEX ENDS 133 POINTS HIGHER ; RIL JUMPS 5%

Markets end higher for the third straight session on sustained buying by fund and retail investors amid weak global cues. Shares of Reliance contributed the most to the rise on the Sensex after LIC increased its stake in the company.
Provisionally, the 30-share Sensex surged 133 points at 29,593 and the 50-share Nifty gains 39 points at 8,995.
Markets have gained momentum in the last hour of trading with Nifty touching record high on persistent buying mainly in healthcare, consumer durables IT and energy stocks on the back of sustained foreign capital inflows with Reliance contributing the most to the gains after LIC increased its stake in the company.
The rupee HAS depreciated by 4 paise to trade at 61.91 against the US dollar, extending Monday’s weakness due to sustained demand for the American currency from importers.
RIL has gained over 4.5% and has emerged as the top gainer after LIC increased its stake in the company by 2.09% after buying 6.78 crore shares in the open market. ONGC is up 1% while GAIL has lost 0.5%.
IT stocks are trading higher in today’s trade on the back of a depreciating rupee. TCS, Wipro and Infosys are up between 0.1-3%.
Sun Pharmaceuticals has gained 3% in intra-day deals after the company said it will acquire the opiates business of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in Australia. GSK’s opiates business, including related manufacturing sites in Latrobe (Tasmania) and Port Fairy (Victoria). Dr Reddys Lab and Cipla have gained between 2-3%.
Among capital goods stocks, L&T has gained 0.7%. The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 2,215 crore across various business segments over the last two months, according to company disclosure to BSE. BHEL has slipped nearly 1% on profit taking.
ITC continues its slide on the Sensex and is down nearly 1%  after the budget proposed a hike in the excise duty in cigarette. HUL is down 0.7%.
Coal India dropped nearly 5% after the stock turned ex-dividend for Rs 20.70 per share today.

INDIAN BENCHMARKS marks record closing high on budget's infra push
INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARKS  marked its highest closing level on Monday as infrastructure-related stocks ranging from capital goods makers such as Larsen & Toubro to cement makers and power sector lenders surged on the federal budget's infra push. The S&P BSE Sensex and CNX Nifty ended 0.33%-0.62% higher each.

·Cigarette shares drop on excise duty hike
Shares of ITC dropped 4% at Rs346 on NSE, extending its previous day’s 8% fall, after the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley proposed raising taxes on cigarettes.The stock opened at Rs358.50 and touched a low of Rs345.65 on NSE. In his budget proposals, Jaitley raised excise duty on cigarettes by 25% for cigarettes of length not exceeding 65 mm, and by 15% for cigarettes of other lengths.
·Petrol, diesel prices hiked by Rs3.18 and Rs3.09 per litre
Petrol and diesel prices are hiked by Rs3.18 and Rs3.09 per litre respectively for petrol and diesel. Oil marketing companies has also hiked price of Jet fuel price hiked by 8.2% while the rates of non-subsidized LPG was increased by Rs5 per cylinder on firming international oil rates. ·Escorts tractor sales dip 25% in February
Escorts reported 25.56% dip in tractor sales at 3,444 units in February. The company had sold 4,627 tractors in February 2014, Escorts said in a statement. The company's domestic tractor sales stood at 3,318 units last month as against 4,581 units in February 2014.Tractor exports during the period under review stood at 126 units as against 46 units in February 2014.
·JBM Auto secures order for 200 buses
JBM Auto announced that the Bus division of the Company has received orders for 200 Buses. The orders constitute buses for City, Staff, School, and Tarmac applications.

·Jet Airways, SpiceJet fall on hike in ATF prices
Shares of airline companies dropped 4-5% lower in early trades after oil marketing companies raised price of aviation turbine fuel by 8.2%, the first such hike since last July. In Delhi, the price of aviation turbine fuel was raised to Rs50,363 per kilolitre from Rs46,513 per kilolitre effective from Saturday midnight. Aviation turbine fuel accounts for about 40% of the airline's operating expenses.
·Atul Auto registers sales of 3,402 vehicles in Feb 2015
Atul Auto reported sale of 3,402 no. of vehicles in February 2015 compared to 3,105 vehicles in February 2014, registering a growth rate of 9.57%.Total sales for the period April 2014 to February 2015 stood at 38,376 no. of vehicles compared to 34,343 vehicles in the corresponding period of the previous year, an increase of 11.74%.
·Dr. Datsons inks deal with Yemen's to sell its drugs
Dr.Datsons Labs and AL-MUGDH PHARMA of Yemen have signed a licensing, distribution and supply deal, under which the distribution company will market Anti-Malaria Drugs. The estimated order for the Yemen is to the tune of Rs80 crore.

SENSEX JUM{PS 198pts POST BUDGET, ITC FALLS 3%

The market started the day on a firm note after the Finance Minister, "Arun Jaitley" on Saturday promised to lower corporate taxes and faster infrastructural growth.
Trading in stock market would also be influenced by investment trend by overseas investors, movement of rupee against the dollar and oil price. Stock markets would remain close on Friday for Holi.
Axis Bank and Larsen & Toubro are the major movers. The duo have contributed for a gain of 88 points for the BSE index.
Similarly, the NSE Nifty opened with a gain of 52 points at 8,954. So far, the NSE index has touched a high of 8,969 and now is up 67 points at 8,969.
On the other hand, the FMCG index has dropped 1.2 per cent. The Consumer Durables index has slipped 0.6 per cent. The IT and the Metal indices are trading marginally in red.
The market breadth is positive in the morning deals. Out of 1,668 stocks have traded on the BSE - 1,087 stocks have advanced, while 531 stocks have declined.
Larsen & Toubro has jumped 2.7 per cent at Rs 1,814. HDFC Bank and BHEL have surged over 2 per cent each at Rs 1,096 and Rs 268, respectively.
Asian stocks edged higher on Monday as China's week-end interest rate cut partially offset soft US data, while the dollar hit a five-week high against the euro.
On the other hand, ITC is the top Sensex loser - down 2.5 per cent at Rs 352 after the FM proposed to increase excise duty on cigarettes to 25 per cent for under 65 mm category, and 15 per cent for other categories.
Gail India has slipped 1.4 per cent at Rs 408. TCS, Wipro, Tata Power and Sesa Sterlite are the notable losers.
