Tata Motors Group global wholesales up
14% yoy in Aug'18 driven by India sales
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), the British
luxury carmaker owned by Tata Motors Limited (TML), sold 1,07,030 vehicles
globally in August 2018, up 14% yoy.
Sales were 16% higher compared to July
2018. The combined sales of Jaguar and Land Rover were 42,658 vehicles, 4%
lower than that in August 2017 and 22% higher than that in July 2018.Written
procedures are not for the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, including
utensils, used in the manufacture, processing, packing, or holding of a drug
product.
The responsibilities and procedures
applicable to the quality control unit are not in writing.
Cyient advances after acquiring 86%
stake in Cyient KK
Cyient announced that Cyient Australia, a
wholly subsidiary of Cyient has acquired 86% in Cyient KK Japan (another
subsidiary of the company), as per a BSE filing.
Subsequently, the stake of the company in
Cyient KK, Japan is 14% as against the hitherto holding of 100%, the company
added.
This transaction does not materially
impact the consolidated financials of the company.
JSW Steel sees production rise by 8.3%
yoy for the month of August 2018
JSW Steel Ltd saw production rising 8.3%
yoy in August 2018 after reporting a 7.8% yoy increase in production in July
2018. Long steel products formed a significant part of this rise in production,
higher 9.7% yoy as infrastructure spends seem intact. This brings the total
production for 5MFY19 to 6.95mn tonnes (up 6.5% yoy), with 1.54mn tonnes for
long steel products and 4.84mn tonnes for flat steel products.
Tata Global Beverages stock jumps 3% on
restructuring plan
Shares of Tata Global Beverages were
trading up 3% on Monday after restructuring its international operations in
order to unlock synergies for the business, optimize costs and streamline
operations.
As per the restructuring plan, company has
merged units of the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa with Canada, Australia,
and Americas into a single unit, called the International Business Division.
This would be a better cost efficiency, the company said in a press release to
the exchanges on Monday.
Glenmark secures German approval for
generic Fluticasone and Salmeterol inhaler
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has said that it
has received marketing authorization in Germany for Fluticasone/Salmeterol dry
powder inhaler (DPI). This is a generic version of GlaxoSmithKline’s Seretide
Accuhaler.
Fluticasone/Salmeterol is a combination
product indicated in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary
disease (COPD).
