Ashok Leyland wins order for supply of 200 buses in Bangladesh
Ashok Leyland, the flagship of Hinduja Group, announced the winning of another order from Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) for the supply of 200 Ashok Leyland buses.
The order is for Single Decker AC buses which includes Intercity AC buses as well as City AC buses. These Completely Built-Up (CBU) units for BRTC (Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation) will be procured against a tender under Indian Line of Credit.

Sun Pharma gets USFDA nod for eye drug Xelpros
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (includes its subsidiaries and/or associate companies) and Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd. (SPARC) announced USFDA approval for the New Drug Application (NDA) of XELPROSTM (latanoprost ophthalmic emulsion) 0.005% for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP, or pressure inside the eye) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
This approval is from Sun Pharma’s Halol (Gujarat, India) facility

Reliance Infra group submits guarantees for Versova-Bandra project
Reliance Infrastructure consortium has submitted Performance Security Bank Guarantee (PS - BG) and Mobilisation Advance Bank Guarantee (MA - BG) to Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) for Versova Bandra Sea Link Project (VBSL). The consortium has submitted Rs350cr of PS - BG and Rs385cr of MA - BG to MSRDC.
The Reliance Infrastructure consortium has submitted the guarantees ahead of time for fast track completion of this prestigious project.

Alembic Pharma gets USFDA nod for Alogliptin and Metformin Hydrochloride tablets
Alembic Pharmaceuticals has received tentative approval from the USFDA for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Alogliptin and Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets, 12.5mg/500mg and 12.5mg/1000mg.
The tentatively approved ANDA is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product (RLD), KAZANO Tablets, 12.5mg/500mg and 12.5mg/1000mg, of Takeda Pharma USA.

Tata Elxsi extends alliance with Airtel
Tata Elxsi has extended its partnership with Airtel’s DTH service arm – Airtel Digital TV, to deliver an engaging digital platform for customers.
As part of this, Tata Elxsi will build the application software for the company’s innovative hybrid set-top-box, Internet TV.
Continuing on the success of the existing partnership between the two companies for Internet TV, the alliance will enable the companies together to enhance customer’s digital experience on their television sets.
