Nifty likely to open flat

The Nifty50 is likely to open flat on Friday tracking mixed trend seen in other Asian markets. The S&P BSE Sensex closed 15 points lower at 39,741 while the Nifty50 ended 7 points higher at 11,914 on Thursday. Overnight, U.S. stocks rose on Thursday after two days of declines, as energy shares rebounded with oil on concerns of a supply disruption following attacks on two tankers in the Gulf of Oman, said a Reuters report. In commodities, Brent crude futures slipped 0.29 percent to $61.13 per barrel after rallying 2.3 percent the previous day. Brent surged on Thursday after two oil tankers were attacked in the Gulf of Oman, one Norwegian-owned and the other Japanese-owned, added the report. Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a flat to negative opening for the broader index in India, a fall of 17.5 points or 0.15 percent. Nifty futures were trading around 11,902-level on the Singaporean Exchange.

Global Market:
Asian Markets: Asian markets are lower today as Chinese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Shanghai Composite is off 0.12% while the Hang Seng is down 0.57%. The Nikkei 225 is not trading.
US Markets: North and South American markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The Bovespa gained 0.46% and the S&P 500 rose 0.41%. The IPC lost 0.72%.
European Markets: European markets finished higher today with shares in Germany leading the region. The DAX is up 0.44% while France's CAC 40 is up 0.01% and London's FTSE 100 is up 0.01%.

Hexaware acquires 100% shares of Mobiquity Softech This acquisition would help gain traction in banking and Pharma verticals, which are the focus areas for Hexaware.

Thyrocare to separate arm Nuclear Healthcare The committee decided to appoint a SEBI approved merchant banker to submit a valuation report, within the shortest possible time, and then take a decision.

Trend in FII flows:- The FIIs were Net Value of Rs 172.35 segment while the DIIs were Net Value of -444.87 the provisional figures.
