Nifty likely to open flat
The Nifty50 is likely to open flat on Friday tracking mixed trend seen in other Asian markets. The index closed 11 points lower at 11,521 on Wednesday. Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a flat-to-negative opening for the broader index in India. The Nifty futures were trading around 11,591-level, down 0.5 point on the Singaporean Exchange. US markets rose higher on Thursday as jitters over the Federal Reserve forecast of an economic slowdown were calmed by upbeat economic data, said a Reuters report. Asian shares advanced on upbeat economic data and optimism in the tech sector lifted Wall Street stocks, helping calm some of the jitters sparked by the Federal Reserve cautious outlook on the world biggest economy.
Global Market:
Asian Markets: Asian markets are lower today as Chinese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Shanghai Composite is off 0.98% while the Hang Seng is down 0.51%. The Nikkei 225 is not trading.
US Markets: North and South American markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The S&P 500 gained 1.09% and the IPC rose 0.22%. The Bovespa lost 1.34%.
European Markets: European markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The FTSE 100 gained 0.88%, while the DAX led the CAC 40 lower. They fell 0.46% and 0.07% respectively.

PFC sings pact to acquire 52.63% stake in REC The consideration for the transaction is expected to be paid on March 28, 2019 and funds for the same have already been arranged by PFC.
